We are looking for an experienced and dependable CDL-A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, be safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable making local deliveries and working directly with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
- Make local deliveries to customer locations and job sites
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Verify loads and delivery paperwork for accuracy
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and warehouse staff
- Assist with loading and unloading when needed
- Keep assigned vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Previous CDL-A driving experience preferred
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to safely secure loads
- Comfortable making multiple local deliveries
- Ability to lift and move materials when necessary
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, and safety-minded
Preferred Experience:
- Building materials, lumber, construction supply, or warehouse delivery experience
- Flatbed driving experience
- Moffett or forklift experience
- Hoisting license
- Experience delivering to construction sites
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
