As a Jewelry Salesperson, you will be an integral part of a small sales team, providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients with their jewelry needs. Your role involves managing sales transactions, inventory and maintaining attractive store displays while contributing to a clean and organized sales environment. Success in this position requires a customer-centric approach and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases, custom orders, and repair take-ins
- Handle sales transactions and operate point of sale (POS) systems
- Manage and track inventory effectively
- Maintain organized and visually appealing store displays
- Coordinate repair orders and follow up with customers
- Perform light housekeeping including vacuuming and cleaning showcases
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Deliver excellent customer service and support
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in retail sales
- Knowledge of retail sales and customer service best practices
- Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management
- Experience in visual merchandising
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
