About the Role
We are a growing residential home service provider seeking a Permit & Inspection Coordinator to support our operations team. This role is responsible for managing the full permitting lifecyclefrom application preparation to final inspection schedulingwhile also supporting day-to-day office operations.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, small-business environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review residential permit applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Submit permits through city and county online portals
  • Track permit status and proactively follow up with local jurisdictions
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections with homeowners, clients, and inspectors
  • Communicate professionally with building departments, inspectors, customers, and internal team members
  • Maintain accurate records and internal tracking systems

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support
  • Manage customer relations and ensure a high level of service
  • Assist with dispatching technicians and scheduling service calls
  • Help manage and track preventative maintenance agreements

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently
  • Comfortable working with online portals, PDFs, forms, and checklists
  • Clear and professional communication skills (phone and email)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Administrative, construction, or permitting experience is a plusbut not required

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience working with building departments or permitting software
  • Familiarity with residential construction processes
  • Experience with ServiceTitan
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
