Responsibilities:
- Own month-end close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for bank, credit card, inventory, and fixed asset accounts.
- Support location-level P&Ls, food and labor cost tracking, and POS and sales reconciliations.
- Support the conversion from QuickBooks Desktop to NetSuite, including data cleanup, chart of accounts mapping, and testing.
- Oversee accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, and vendor management.
- Maintain W-9s and support the 1099 process.
- Clean up historical account issues and document accounting processes and procedures.
- Work closely with the Cost Accountant and Controller on financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role with full month-end close responsibility.
- Strong experience with journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with accounts payable oversight and 1099 reporting.
- Ability to work independently and bring structure to an evolving environment.
- Restaurant, food service, or other high-SKU industry experience, ideally multi-location, is a plus.
- NetSuite, QuickBooks Desktop, or system conversion experience is a plus.
- R365 experience is a plus.
