Senior Project Manager – Life Sciences Construction
Location: Greater Boston Area
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000+ (commensurate with experience)
Work Environment: Primarily onsite (approximately 95% field / 5% office)
We are partnered with a leading General Contractor in the Greater Boston market to support the continued growth of their Life Sciences division. This team delivers highly technical and complex projects across laboratory, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology facilities, with a strong presence from Downtown Boston through the Waltham and Framingham corridors.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale projects and take full ownership of project execution, including financial performance, scheduling, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring successful delivery at every phase
- Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management processes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staff
- Collaborate closely with field teams to drive safety, quality, and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience, with a strong focus on Life Sciences projects
- Demonstrated success managing projects valued at $20M or greater
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
