Pay: $22.75/hr MAP | $21.00/hr Non-MAP

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated ABI Support Professionals to provide personalized support for individuals with acquired brain injuries. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and helping individuals thrive in their homes and communities.

  • #1627: Sun–Wed 11:00pm–9:00am (40 hrs/week)
  • #1646: Sun, Mon, Sat 3:00pm–11:00pm (24 hrs/week)
  • #1662: Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri 11:00pm-9:00am (40 hrs/week)
  • #1669: Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm, Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm, 20 hrs/wk
  • #1671: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thurday, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, 40 hrs/wk

About the Role

As an ABI Support Professional, you will provide essential assistance to help individuals accomplish activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, toileting, bathing, transferring, and ambulation. You’ll support individuals in maintaining independence, provide transportation as needed, and ensure their health, safety, and well-being. This role reports to the ABI Home Manager and includes weekly supervision and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with the individual and their family
  • Assist with personal care and nutrition
  • Support independence through household tasks like cooking, laundry, and shopping
  • Provide transportation when needed
  • Maintain open communication with the support team
  • Complete documentation (timesheets, progress notes, incident reports, medical/dental forms) accurately and on time
  • Maintain certifications and complete required training promptly
  • Follow routines established by the direct supervisor and families
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • MAP certification preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Completion of TB screening and physical
  • Safe driving record, valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and current insurance
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background checks
