Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist – Rehabilitation
Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift) | Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends or 4 weekend days within 13-week contract | Holiday Requirement: Occasional Holidays
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Travel Physical Therapist – Rehabilitation for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with functional goals
- Perform diagnostic assessments of muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities
- Implement and modify therapeutic interventions based on patient progress
- Reassess patients and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes
- Document patient care, progress, and treatment effectiveness
- Educate patients and families on home exercise and continuation of care
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supervise PTAs, aides, and students as needed
- Assist with training new staff when required
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Participate in meetings, continuing education, and professional development
- Maintain daily patient activity and billing records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong evaluation, treatment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with adult and pediatric populations
- Acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Must be available for scheduled weekend coverage
- Specialist certification and leadership experience preferred
