Key Details:
- Location: Onsite in the Marblehead, Massachusetts area
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload & Site Info: Specific caseload and school site details will be shared during the interview with the Special Services Director.
What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students in need of speech therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals across the school environment
- Track and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure success
- Recommend assistive technology and accommodations as necessary to support communication development
