Key Responsibilities:
As a Climbing Foreman/Bucket Operator, you will be crucial in leading our crews and executing advanced tree care operations. Your daily responsibilities include:

Direct and supervise a tree care crew, ensuring efficient execution of all tasks from start to finish.

Safely and skillfully operate bucket trucks to perform aerial tree work, including pruning, removals, and other tree care tasks.

Execute complex tree climbing techniques when bucket access is not feasible, ensuring safe and efficient work at heights.

Conduct thorough job site briefings, strictly enforce all safety protocols and company standards, and ensure high-quality workmanship on every project.

Clearly communicate job details and expectations to both your crew and homeowners, ensuring satisfaction and smooth operations.

Oversee the proper inspection, maintenance, and safe operation of all equipment, including chippers and other specialized tools. Manage job site setup, traffic control, and meticulous cleanup.

Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members, fostering their skill development and adherence to best practices.

Complete necessary paperwork, job logs, and safety reports accurately and promptly.
What We're Looking For

3-5 years of arborist experience in a professional tree care setting.

Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role leading tree care crews.

Demonstrated expertise in operating bucket trucks and performing advanced tree climbing.

Strong knowledge of various tree care techniques, rigging, industry safety standards, and equipment operation.

Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

Must have a clean driving record.

Exceptional leadership, delegation, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with crew members, clients, and management.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.

ISA Certified Arborist or Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist is a strong asset.
