Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher serving K-12 students. This position is based onsite in Springfield, VT, and offers the chance to manage a significant caseload as a VOCO Special Education Case Manager starting ASAP through August 27, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services for students with special education needs within a K-12 setting.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet individual goals.
- Maintain compliant documentation and reporting in accordance with special education regulations.
- Manage a large, active caseload with urgent needs requiring prompt and effective support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education.
- Experience working as a VOCO Special Education Case Manager or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills able to handle a high volume of cases efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and advocating for student success.
