Activities Assistant
Full Time and Part Time Work Available

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at AdviniaCare Salem, a leading provider of senior lifestyle care in Salem, Massachusetts. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and coordinating activities, social events, and group activities that stimulate and engage their cognitive levels.

Responsibilities:

Encourage and assist residents in functional, social, and recreational activities under the direction of the Activity Director
</li>
<li>
Function as a team member and foster good interpersonal communication skills within and between departments
</li>
<li>
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents in your care
</li>
<li>
Assist in planning and coordinating activities, social events, and group activities
</li>
<li>
Engage residents in various cognitive activities, such as puzzles, games, and arts and crafts

</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>
High School Graduate or equivalent
</li>
<li>
Long Term Care experience preferred
</li>
<li>
CPR Certified
</li>
<li>
Certified as an activity assistant preferred
</li>
<li>
Ability to work a rotating schedule, including some holiday and weekend hours
