At Cannistraro, we believe that every role contributes to the success of our projects and the strength of our partnerships. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our teams by managing contracts and related documentation with accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
This role works closely with in-house General Deputy Counsel, Project Managers, Group Administrators, Accounting, and external partners to ensure contracts are properly prepared, reviewed, executed, and maintained. The Contracts Administrator plays an important role in supporting well-run projects by ensuring contractual and compliance requirements are met.
What Youll Do
- Manage the full in-house lifecycle of customer contracts, including receipt, review, execution, approval, and tracking to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support the contract review and approval process
- Obtain and distribute required bonds and insurance certificates to customers
- Process DocuSign agreements for subcontractors, ensuring execution and compliance with insurance requirements
- Modify standard subcontract documents to align with customer contract requirements
- Verify subcontractor insurance certificates are compliant and properly recorded in internal systems
- Prepare and execute contract exhibits and related documentation (e.g., tax-exempt forms, bonds)
- Review and assist with lien waiver processing
- Support Accounting with compliance management and follow-up on insurance certificates
- Issue insurance certificates to clients
- Prepare and process warranty letters
- Assist with notification, processing, and tracking of project-related insurance claims
- Prepare demand letters related to outstanding collections
- Assist with bid documentation as needed
- Maintain organized, accurate, and complete contract files
- Ensure all documentation is properly saved and updated in internal systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years of related experience
- Construction contract experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer systems and document management tools
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and manage multiple priorities
- Clear, professional communication and collaboration skills
