Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
Salary Range: $28-34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: [Laconia, New Hampshire]

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team. As an OTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to our patients. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to help our patients regain their functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises and activities to improve their fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living skills
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and patient progress
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and professional standards in the delivery of therapy services
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state OTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
