Job Title: MRI Technologist – Acute Care
Location: Concord, NH
Job Type: 13 weeks contract
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively to produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy before submission to radiologists.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the MRI process, including proper screening and positioning.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system (Cerner experience preferred but not required).
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to MRI imaging and radiation therapy.
Qualifications
- Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT, BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Licensure: Licensed and certified by the New Hampshire Board of Imaging & Radiation Therapy.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care setting required.
- Technology: EMR experience preferred; Cerner experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
