Job Description

Step into a rewarding role providing in-person physical therapy for students in a specialized school setting. This contract position offers the flexibility to select your own two days per week, with each onsite session lasting approximately an hour and a half. You will work directly with a small caseload of three students, delivering hands-on support and making a significant impact as you help transition services away from virtual to onsite care.

As the school serves a deaf student population, we seek a compassionate, adaptable professional who is comfortable working in an inclusive and communicative environment. You'll have the chance to build strong relationships with both students and staff, ensuring meaningful progress and support through the end of the school year.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Licensure as a Physical Therapist valid for school-based practice
Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
Commitment to providing on-site therapy as required by families
Comfort and sensitivity working in a school for the deaf
Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
Flexibility to choose your schedule within the school week

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group PT sessions tailored to students' IEP goals
Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines
Document progress, communicate updates, and adapt plans as needed
