Must have experience as a groomer, cutting breed standard clips on dogs. As a Full Qualified Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a number of dogs of various breeds, ensuring their comfort, safety, and cleanliness. This individual contributor role focuses on specialized breed grooming, requiring attention to detail and compassionate animal handling. The position involves working regular daytime hours M-F, as well as Saturdays 8 am- 4 pm. Currently our grooming schedule is Thursday-Saturday 8-4. Kennel positions are available as well, shifts are from 1:30-8 pm, you must have weekend availability as well.
Responsibilities
- Perform pet bathing and HAIRCUTS tailored to each dog's breed and coat type
- Trim nails and clean ears to maintain pet health and comfort
- Brush coats to remove tangles and improve pet appearance
- Handle animals safely and compassionately throughout grooming
- Sanitize grooming equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Engage courteously with customers to understand pet needs and provide service updates
- Manage safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure grooming environment
Necessary Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in pet grooming
