An educational institution in Portsmouth, NH is seeking full-time paraprofessionals to support elementary students for the upcoming school year. This contract position runs from the present through June 2026, with a standard schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Multiple openings (3-4) are available to provide essential assistance within elementary classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for individual students as assigned
• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodate diverse learning needs

Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in an elementary school setting preferred
• Ability to work reliably within an elementary caseload environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and staff
• Patience, flexibility, and dedication to supporting students’ success
