Fine Gardening Technician
Eastham, MA
$25–$30/hour | Full-Time / Part-Time
Ponderosa Landscaping is hiring a Fine Gardening Technician to join our team. We’ve been serving the Lower and Outer Cape since 1979 and are known for quality work and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in plant care and enjoys working outdoors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain gardens, beds, and landscapes to a high standard
- Prune shrubs, perennials, and rose care
- Design and maintain container plantings
- Identify plant issues (pests, disease, fertilization needs)
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools
- Load/unload materials and assist with general labor
- Drive company vehicles (dump truck as needed)
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
What You Need
- Experience in landscaping or fine gardening (required)
- Knowledge of plant care, pruning, and maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors daily
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly
Preferred (Not Required)
- Valid MA Driver’s License
- DOT Medical Card
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Overtime and weekends as needed
