Are you currently seeking aschool based OT position? As a school basedOccupational Therapist (OT)at a on-site position in Whitinsville, MA, you will provide individualized and group therapy to support students in developing the skills they need to succeed in their academic and social lives.
Job Details:
- 2024/2025 School Year
- Hours: 7:30AM-3:00PM (3-4 days per week)
- Caseload: Evaluations, Direct Services, and Supervising a part-time COTA
- Age Level: Pre-K through 12th Grade (63 students)
- Onsite only
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Knowledge of IEP development and educational systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to fit diverse student needs.
- Familiarity with sensory processing issues and motor development.
