Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-semester contract in a K-12 school located in Putney, VT. This role involves managing a significant caseload and providing essential services within a special education framework. The position is onsite and requires immediate availability, extending until late August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a diverse caseload of special education students within the K-12 setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and ensure compliance with special education regulations.
- Provide case management and advocate for student educational and developmental goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reports to track student progress and service delivery.
