Our client, a highly respected private equity firm in Boston, is seeking an experienced and polished Office Manager to join their team on a six-month temporary basis (covering an employee's leave). The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm's Boston office, serving as a welcoming point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors while ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations and organization of the Boston office
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related needs, vendors, building management, and service providers
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, mail, deliveries, and general office services
- Manage conference rooms, meeting spaces, and office calendars as needed
- Coordinate catering, lunches, team events, and other office functions
- Assist with scheduling and logistical support for meetings and internal events
- Coordinate travel or other administrative arrangements as needed
- Partner with building management on maintenance, repairs, access, security, and other facilities-related matters
- Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming office environment
- Support senior executives and investment professionals with occasional administrative needs
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion
- Assist with special projects and other administrative responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
\n

- 2+ years of experience in office management, office administration, executive support, or a related role
- Experience in a professional services, financial services, private equity, investment banking, law, or similar environment preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional, polished, and personable communication style
- Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without extensive direction
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a small, high-performing team
