The Table Game Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and supervision of the casino table game operations. This role provides leadership and direction in alignment with the organizational structure, ensuring full compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations. The Table Game Shift Manager will facilitate the growth of the casino's gaming customer base, promote outstanding Team Member and Guest relations, and safeguard company assets.


Expected Work Hours and Schedule:


Work hours will vary, encompassing morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across five working days per week. The expected working hours range from 40 to 45 hours per week, including availability from Monday to Sunday.


Essential Job Functions:


· Champion our code of conduct and always adheres to professionalism.

· Oversee the Casino Gaming Pit area(s), providing leadership and direction in alignment with the organizational structure, while ensuring full compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations.

· Facilitates the growth of the casino's gaming customer base by actively participating in Team Member education, guest engagement, and ensuring the timely update of all promotional signage.

· Effectively relates ideas for improvements.

· Ensures that all team members understand and are accountable for their area(s) of responsibility. Serves as a role model for team members and fosters positive teamwork, positive moral, and open communication.

· Promotes outstanding Team Member and guest relations.

· Has full knowledge of policies and procedures and participates in ways to improve efficiency.

· Monitor’s performance standards regularly.

· Has a working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and internal control policies.

· Evaluates operating and closing procedures, recommends changes, and implements changes approved by the General Manager.

· Execute directives, objectives, and communication to include hosting regular huddles for team members.

· Safeguards company assets.

· Assist with development and implementation of plans to ensure the effective use of labor.

· Work in conjunction with security and surveillance to detect any floor, Team Member, or guest irregularities.

· Actively supports and leads Players Card sign up initiatives and creatively plans and executes sign up campaigns to motivate and inspire Team Members to solicit the guest and sign them up.

· Issues written and oral instructions.

· Enforces performance or behavioral standards using progressive discipline.

· Ensures all team members receive equitable, honest, and fair treatment

· Maintains harmony among team members, vendors, guests, and resolves grievances.

· Performs other related duties assigned by the General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Director of Table Games

· Assist with maintaining departmental shift logs, noting any unusual occurrences, incidents, safety concerns, equipment failure, etc.

· Ability to deal all table games offered to guests

· Willingness to learn, teach and mentor Dealers in all table game procedures, policies and rules.


Requirements:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Demonstrated experience in maintaining consistent high quality guest service levels and a proven track record of maximizing revenues while controlling labor and other operating expenses.

· Experience with and knowledge of applicable regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.

· Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation required.

· Must be able to work effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.

· Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of various hospitality information management support systems preferred.

· Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

· Able to bring about great results from ordinary circumstances.

· Able to work independent of direct supervision.

· Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor processes; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records.

· Able to stay informed of current industry trends.

· Able to remain open-minded and change opinions based on new information; perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task and adapt to varying customer needs.

· Able to be tactful, maintain confidence, and foster an ethical work environment, prevent inappropriate behavior by team members, give proper credit to others, handle all situations honestly and with integrity.

· Able to act in accordance with established guidelines, follow standard procedures in crisis situations, communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures, recognize and constructively conform to written rules and/or practices.
