Duration: 10/13/2025 – 04/11/2026 (26 weeks)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8-hour days (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM)
Shift: 5 shifts per week, every other weekend required (OBGYN care setting)

Job Description:

    \t
  • Perform various patient care duties including EKGs, vital signs, wound care, splinting, crutch walking, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • \t

  • Assist providers in delivering care and support patients with physical or psychological limitations.
  • \t

  • Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care lab testing per protocols; document and communicate results timely.
  • \t

  • Maintain and stock medical, surgical, office supplies, linen, and other necessary inventory for daily operations.
  • \t

  • Ensure all used equipment is properly cleaned and ready for next use.
  • \t

  • Conduct regular patient rounding per department process, communicate any delays to patients.

Requirements:

    \t
  • Flu vaccination required prior to start (season begins 09/02).
  • \t

  • Experience in Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Department (ED), and Urgent Care.
  • \t

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • \t

  • Local candidates only; interviews conducted by manager.
