Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Physical Therapy professional opportunity is available to serve K-8 students in a public school setting in Lowell, MA, with travel to Lawrence, MA campuses to provide essential PT services. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 11, 2025, and concluding June 17, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions to students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and support staff.
  • Maintain required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
  • Travel onsite to multiple campuses within Lawrence, MA, to fulfill service requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Completion of fingerprinting and CORI background check as required.
  • Experience working in school-based physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Flexibility to work a 10-hour week schedule, with service delivery possible between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, adaptable across different days.
