You will lead a preschool special education program, managing a caseload of approximately 12 students. Your expertise will ensure that each child receives specialized instruction and personalized support tailored to their unique needs and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Working alongside families, classroom teachers, and related service providers, you’ll help create a collaborative and enriching learning atmosphere where every student can thrive.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Certification (required)
- New Hampshire Early Childhood Certification (required)
- Experience in early childhood special education strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs aligned with state standards
- Strong communication skills for engaging with families and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and interventions for preschool students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers (e.g., speech, OT, PT)
- Foster inclusive classroom environments that support growth and engagement
- Conduct regular progress monitoring, data collection, and IEP reporting
- Communicate proactively with families regarding student progress and goals
