DME Coordinator – Full-Time
Location: 264 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts (No weekends)
Expected Hours: 40 per week

Concord Orthopaedics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate DME Coordinator to join our team. This vital role ensures our patients receive the durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies they need in a timely, accurate, and caring manner. The DME Coordinator plays a key part in supporting our clinical staff and upholding the exceptional standard of care Concord Orthopaedics is known for.
Key Responsibilities
DME Inventory & Vendor Management

Order, receive, label, and stock DME, soft goods, and medical supplies

Maintain accurate inventory and proactively monitor reordering needs

Act as the primary liaison between Concord Orthopaedics and DME vendors for order fulfillment, issue resolution, and invoice processing

Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines

Communicate equipment updates and concerns to clinical leadership
Specialty Bracing (Knee/Spine)

Fit and coordinate specialty braces (ACL, MCL, PCL, LSO, TLSO) as prescribed by providers

Educate patients and caregivers on proper DME usage

Conduct brace measurements, identify appropriate models, obtain insurance benefits, and coordinate prior authorizations with the business office

Complete documentation, including chart notes, and follow up on adjustments or repairs
Clinical Staff Support

Assist medical assistants and providers with casting, brace fittings, and complex DME needs
-
Provide backup support during clinical procedures and patient appointments
Staff Training & Communication

Train new and existing staff on DME fitting and usage protocols

Respond to patient, clinical, and business office inquiries via phone or secure messaging in a professional and timely manner
Additional Duties

Support overall medical supply chain and inventory processes

Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
-
Required:
-
Orthopaedic Technologist or Certified Orthopaedic Technologist
-
High school diploma or associate degree
-
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or similar clinical background
-
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
-
Certified Orthopedic Brace Technologist, or willingness to obtain within 3–6 months of hire

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Physical Requirements
This position involves moderate to frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, and walking. It also requires moderate keyboarding and desk work. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
