Part-Time Counselor Supervisor-Salem, NH

Middlesex Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is a multi-site, multi-service organization providing opioid use disorder treatment and rehabilitation for patients across the country. Join Our Team

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Counselor Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our counseling team. This position plays a key role in ensuring high quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence within our outpatient substance use disorder treatment program.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician who is passionate about mentoring counselors, supporting professional growth, and improving patient outcomes while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing licensure and other clinical staff as permitted by state regulations
  • Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes
  • Support counselors in case consultations, treatment planning, and clinical decision making
  • Conduct individual and group supervision sessions
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of counseling staff
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and chart reviews
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Support compliance with state licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and company policies
  • Maintain a small caseload of counseling services as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current unrestricted licensure in the applicable state of New Hampshire
  • One of the following credentials:
    • MLADC
    • LICSW
    • LCMHC
  • LCS (Licensed Clinical Supervisor) credential required
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring counseling staff
  • Experience working with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health populations preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
