Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students near Somerville, MA as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for pediatric needs and the flexibility to thrive in school settings. You’ll be covering a leave from May 11th to June 11th, working three days a week, making this a great way to make a real difference as the academic year winds down. Whether you’re experienced or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, your expertise will be valued.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license and eligibility for work in Massachusetts
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices welcomed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable adapting to changing caseloads and schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both in-person and virtually as needed
  • Conduct assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for comprehensive student support
  • Adjust therapy sessions to match student needs and emerging caseload information
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as appropriate
