Position: Continuous Improvement Manager (CI)


Description:

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and building a culture of Continuous Improvement? We’re looking for a CI Manager to lead Lean transformation across our Franklin, NH site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll partner with site and business unit leaders to streamline processes, coach teams, and deliver measurable results that improve productivity, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a change agent, promoting a Continuous Improvement mindset across all departments.
  • Lead and manage all Lean and CI initiatives across the site, aligned with our business system.
  • Facilitate strategy and goal deployment across functions and multiple value streams.
  • Maintain a Lean roadmap focused on productivity, quality, delivery, and customer experience.
  • Track and report productivity savings to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals.
  • Lead Kaizen events and Lean workshops for site leaders and associates.
  • Coach teams on tools such as VSM, standard work, problem solving, 3P/layout, material flow, TPM, SMED, 5S, and visual management.
  • Identify and prioritize business improvement opportunities and share best practicesacross the organization.
  • Lead the site CI Steering Committee and maintain a healthy project pipeline.
  • Develop and mentor a cross-functional network of CI practitioners and Lean leaders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Formal CI training/certification Black Belt preferred.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience with a strong Lean/Kaizen background.
  • Proven experience leading strategy deployment and developing Lean roadmaps.
  • Solid understanding of Lean tools (VSM, daily management, standard work, TPM, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, visual management).
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
