Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Essex Junction, VT is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team under a contract position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support student development and well-being through comprehensive psychological services in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and interventions to support students mental health and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist License
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student advocacy and educational equity
- Experience working in school settings preferred
