Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be an integral part of the shipping and receiving department supporting the efficient movement of materials and products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Shipper/Receiver
Location: Worcester, MA
Pay Range: $24
Shift: 5:30am-2:00pm
What's the Job?
- Perform all functions related to material movement through the shipping, receiving, and packaging departments.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely within the warehouse and outside holding areas.
- Prepare materials for domestic and international shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and related paperwork to support efficient operations.
What's Needed?
- Experience operating forklifts and related material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical material handling tasks and operate various shipping equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for record keeping and documentation.
- Basic understanding of shipping procedures, including international shipping documentation.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during the day shift.
