Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
\n
- \n
- Process purchase orders and payments
- Research and address any invoicing discrepancies
- Issue 1099s
- Reconcile accounts
- Maintain accurate files
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

\n
\n
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist
\n
- \n
- 3+ years AP experience from purchase order to payment processing
- Associate degree in accounting or work experience in the accounting field; must have understanding of general ledger, reconciliation processes, and journal entries
- Knowledge of 1099 processing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with enterprise accounting systems
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
