Abide Environmental is hiring Lead Abatement Workers to join our field crews performing deleading projects throughout Western Massachusetts.
This is hands-on construction work involving containment setup, demolition, and safe removal of lead-contaminated building materials in older homes.
If you have experience in construction, demolition, remodeling, roofing, or restoration work, this can be a great opportunity for stable, year-round employment with opportunities to grow.
This role requires workers who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physically demanding work.

Responsibilities
• Set up containment areas using plastic barriers and negative air equipment
• Safely remove lead-contaminated building materials
• Perform demolition and surface preparation work
• Follow strict safety and regulatory procedures
• Perform detailed cleaning using HEPA equipment
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members
Most projects are residential and typically last 1–3 days per job.
Requirements
• Construction, demolition, or remodeling experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working in protective gear and respirators
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Lead certification is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
