Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN L&D for a 13-week travel/contract position in Plymouth, NH.

Pay Rate range : $2680 to $2772 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: L&D
Available shifts: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p – 7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, Any 3 shifts per week, EOW, Holiday rotation if scheduled, No-call
Position Requirements:
- 2 years Current Labor & Delivery RN experience - Required
- Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Lactation experience – Required
- Apgar testing experience – Required
- Must be proficient & experienced from patient check in to pre/post care to discharge
- CAH experience – Preferred
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- ASN – Required
- BSN – Highly preferred
- RN License for the state applying or Compact if accepted in the state - Required
- BLS, NRP Certifications from AHA - Required
- AWHONN Certification - Required
Job Description:
- Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
- Demonstrate proficiency from patient check in to pre/post care to discharge,
- Provide care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth.
- Monitor vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with deliveries.
- Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to postpartum care, recovery and caring for their infants.
- Responding to and managing potential complications during labor and delivery.
- May provide care for patients with high risk pregnancy management.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
