Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN L&D for a 13-week travel/contract position in Plymouth, NH.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate range : $2680 to $2772 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: L&D

Available shifts: Nights

Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p – 7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, Any 3 shifts per week, EOW, Holiday rotation if scheduled, No-call

Position Requirements:

  • 2 years Current Labor & Delivery RN experience - Required
  • Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Lactation experience – Required
  • Apgar testing experience – Required
  • Must be proficient & experienced from patient check in to pre/post care to discharge
  • CAH experience – Preferred

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN – Required
  • BSN – Highly preferred
  • RN License for the state applying or Compact if accepted in the state - Required
  • BLS, NRP Certifications from AHA - Required
  • AWHONN Certification - Required

Job Description:

  • Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
  • Demonstrate proficiency from patient check in to pre/post care to discharge,
  • Provide care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth.
  • Monitor vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with deliveries.
  • Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to postpartum care, recovery and caring for their infants.
  • Responding to and managing potential complications during labor and delivery.
  • May provide care for patients with high risk pregnancy management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
