Summary

We are seeking an assistant teacher to join our expanding team!

Do you have a passion for playing with young children and helping them grow and develop? Then we would love to talk with you!

Duties

Duties include playing with children; talking with children; reading and singing to children; assisting with their personal care; assisting at mealtimes; helping to plan learning activities; cleaning classroom materials; communicating with children's families; record keeping and professional development.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Completed high school diploma or GED
• Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level One or Two or;
• Current CDA and 12 months experience or;
• Successful completion of Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals and 12 months experience or;
• Successful completion of a 3-credit college course in related field and 12 months experience
