Diagnostic Technician III (Phlebotomy & Cardiac Testing)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician III to support both laboratory specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing. This role is essential in ensuring accurate specimen handling, reliable test performance, and high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSpecimen Collection & Laboratory Support

• Perform venipuncture and collect various clinical specimens
• Verify patient identity prior to specimen collection procedures
• Educate patients on proper specimen collection techniques when needed
• Ensure safe and timely transport of specimens to the laboratory
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation
• Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and support service recovery efforts

Cardiac Diagnostic Testing

• Perform non-invasive cardiac testing procedures, including:
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • Holter monitor placement and setup
  • Stress testing support and preparation
• Accurately enter test orders and ensure proper billing documentation
• Record and maintain patient and diagnostic data in hospital systems and logs

General Responsibilities

• Communicate workflow updates, order changes, and technical issues to appropriate staff and supervisors
• Participate in departmental meetings and required training sessions
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized clinical workspaces
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients and healthcare teams

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
• EKG Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
