Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time travel position is designed for a licensed School Psychologist to serve an elementary or middle school in the Burlington, VT area. The assignment runs from August 18 through June 17, 2027. The psychologist will provide onsite support for approximately 90 students with current Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and monitor IEPs
- Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology with appropriate VT state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation techniques
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 90 students with current IEPs
