Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This MRI technologist role offers an opportunity to perform a wide range of imaging procedures including MSK, Body, Angiography, and Breast biopsies using advanced Siemens Aera 1.5T equipment. The position is based at a well-established medical center with a supportive team comprising experienced technologists and tech aides. The role requires solid basic MRI scanning skills and appropriate certifications to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans utilizing Siemens Aera 1.5T equipment with accuracy and professionalism.
- Review schedules, determine order criteria, and screen patients for MRI procedures.
- Collaborate with imaging teams to ensure smooth workflow during all shifts.
- Maintain thorough documentation utilizing the Allscripts system.
- Adhere to patient care protocols and safety standards, including Basic Life Support.
- Participate in rotation schedules for weekend and call coverage.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience with basic MRI scanning techniques.
- Certified in MRI through ARRT or equivalent certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State license as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
