Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Monday: 7:00am start
- Tuesday: 8:00am start
- Thursday: 7:00am start
- Friday: 6:30am start
- No weekends or holidays
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Administer chemotherapy and closely monitor for side effects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment, side effects, and ongoing care
- Safeguard patient safety through vigilant assessment and documentation
- Actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in MS Oncology or similar setting
- Current Chemo certification required
- Oncology certification not required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
