Key Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing abilities and other areas of occupational performance
- Collaborate with parents, teachers and other educational team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with occupational therapy needs
- Recommend and provide training on the use of equipment and assistive technology to support accessibility of students
- Collaborate with other teachers and professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into curriculum and classroom activities
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Massachusetts state OT license or eligibility to acquire one.
- Completion of a Master's degree program in Occupational Therapy.
- Ideally, prior experience in a school-based setting.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Pay rate of $45+ per hour, based on prior schools experience
