This contract position near Boston offers the opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents, supporting their growth through targeted physical therapy interventions in an educational setting. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
  • The ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Strong communication skills to consult with staff, families, and other team members
  • Adaptability and creativity in delivering therapy services in diverse school environments

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students' physical abilities and needs
  • Developing and executing therapy plans that align with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate case records
  • Educating school staff and families about strategies to support student mobility and participation
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable input to each student's plan
  • Supporting classroom adaptations and modifications to maximize student access and inclusion
