Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow, scheduling, assignments, and projects of the facilities department.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
- Collaborate with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete projects.
- Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
- Collaborate with fellow departments to identify and troubleshoot problems.
- Lock-out Tag-out.
- Creates and maintains vendor relationships and contracts.
- Respond to and address callouts and emergencies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
- Diagnostic skills: Ability to identify root causes of equipment errors/issues and take corrective action.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
- Knowledgeable in electrical, PLC wiring and diagnostics, motors, pneumatics, HVAC, and hydraulics.
- Operate powered equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project planning and management.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Maintain required professional licenses required for job.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree preferred.
- At least 3-5 (three to five) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Valid Drivers License.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and full range of motion.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
