Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital support to K-12 students within an engaging school environment. This contract position spans the current school year and involves hands-on involvement with students across multiple locations, with the primary site located in Cabot, VT, and additional support possibly required at Twinfield and other out-of-district placements in the Barre/Berlin area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students grades K-12.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to student support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Proven ability to adapt therapy strategies to a school-based environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
This role requires onsite presence; virtual work is not available. The position offers an hourly rate between $45 and $55, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise.
