We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team at a 244,000 square foot hospital with 174 beds. The role is based at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and involves working the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. You will be responsible for both preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, including high and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
  • Manage high and low voltage systems maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints.
  • Utilize CMMS work order system effectively.
  • Bend conduit and handle circuit wiring.
  • Communicate effectively in English.

Essential Skills

  • Journeyman Electrician's license.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a commercial facility, ideally healthcare.
  • Knowledge of CMMS work order system.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of how building management system (BMS) works.
  • Ability to live within 1 hour of the hospital for timely on-call response.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
