In this position, you'll collaborate closely with two other case managers, each sharing responsibility for a caseload of approximately 15-20 students, and will have valuable support from dedicated 1:1 paraprofessionals and experienced behavior analysts. Your expertise and passion will ensure students with varying needs experience growth and success throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, specifically with 1st–4th grade students
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction in a resource classroom setting
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators, case managers, and support staff
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instructional support to a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with team members and families
- Conduct resource room sessions and in-class push-ins as needed
- Partner with paras and behavior analysts to meet students’ unique needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and engagement
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress throughout the year
