Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (June 10 – August 8, 2026; includes approximately 13 days of paid pre-camp training)

Compensation & Benefits

Weekly Pay: $1,200 – $1,400 per week — Based on experience and qualifications

Relocation Assistance: Round-trip transportation to and from camp provided

Shift: Fully residential and on-site; approximately 13 days of paid pre-camp training precede the season

Benefits Package: Private room and all meals included for the full summer; New Hampshire RN licensure costs fully reimbursed if applicable; one age-appropriate daughter may attend camp at no cost with no reduction in compensation. Note: no pets permitted; spouses not in residence.
Job Summary
A hands-on clinical nursing role embedded within the daily life of a residential all-girls camp. Beyond routine medical care, this position calls for a visible, trusted presence across the camp community—someone equally comfortable managing health protocols and offering reassurance to a homesick camper. Structured clinic hours, shared on-call coverage, and a well-prepared team define the working environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and treat everyday illnesses, injuries, and health concerns among campers and staff throughout the season.

Conduct health screenings for all campers and staff on arrival day.

Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations promptly and competently.

Monitor general health and wellness patterns across the broader camp population.

Dispense daily medications accurately and in full compliance with established protocols.

Maintain thorough, current medical records including MARs, logs, and required reports.

Adhere to standing orders and medical directives set by the Camp Physician.

Assist in preparing and organizing the Health Center during the pre-season training period.

Keep medical supplies, equipment, and first aid kits stocked and properly maintained throughout camp.

Communicate directly with parents or guardians regarding camper health concerns as needed.

Collaborate with the Camp Physician, Head Nurse, and Directors as an active member of the care team.

Participate in staff health and safety training sessions.

Maintain a visible, approachable presence across camp; offer emotional support and calm reassurance to campers navigating health or adjustment concerns.
Minimum Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Eligibility to obtain New Hampshire RN licensure (reimbursed if needed).

Female candidate; required by the nature of the all-girls residential camp environment.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Minimum of one year of experience working with children or adolescents.

Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate health records and care plans.

Effective communicator with families, colleagues, and leadership.
