We’re growing fast, expanding beyond our performance roots into the broader wellness space and we’re looking for an Accounting Manager who will play an integral role in shaping how we scale. This is a pivotal moment for the accounting department as Promix prepares to implement a new ERP system, creating a rare opportunity to help build the financial foundation from the ground up. About the Role\n
The Accounting Manager, reporting to the CFO, will be a detail-oriented and operationally strong accounting leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring the integrity of Promix's financial reporting. You will lead the development of core accounting processes, controls, and management reporting to provide accurate financial information and decision support across the organization. This role will work closely with the executive team to deliver timely and reliable financial insights that improve business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. You will have a unique opportunity to help build and scale the accounting function at a company in hyper-growth mode, directly impacting how the business manages and measures its financial health. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical accounting expertise and strong business acumen, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is looking to challenge themselves.

What You’ll Do\n
● Lead month end close process and assist with financial reporting and variance analysis;
\n
● Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and relevant supporting schedules;
\n
● Perform working capital, financial and KPI analyses to support business decision making;
\n
● Work closely with operations and finance teams to support reporting, reconciliations, and KPI tracking;
\n
● Oversee accounts receivables and accounts payable functions, partnering with department leaders;
\n
● Support systems implementations to ensure proper automation, auditability, and controls across data sets and financial records;
\n
● Leverage BI platforms and AI-driven analytics tools to streamline reporting and develop dashboards that deliver real-time visibility into business performance;
\n
● Lead preparation of year end audit and work closely with the audit and tax teams to provide accurate supporting schedules;
\n
● Oversee sales tax compliance, partnering with external sales tax providers to manage state return filings and maintain nexus tracking
\n
● Partner with the executive team and cross-functional departments to address ad hoc accounting inquiries and special projects;
\n
● Proactively identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and scalability as Promix continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For\n
● 5+ years of work experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, ideally in a high growth company
\n
● BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field
\n
● Experience leading or supporting implementation, configuration and deployment of ERP system preferred
\n
● Detail and solutions oriented individual capable of navigating ambiguity and tight deadlines in dynamic, fast-paced environment
\n
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leadership
\n
● Ability to work effectively in a remote team and manage multiple priorities independently
\n

Compensation Range\n
$115k-$135k, final compensation will be commensurate with your experience and will be determined by a variety of factors, including city of residence, relevant skill set, and job-related knowledge.
