Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Lynn, MA, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services for the current school year on a contract basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and assessments to identify students learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Ensure pliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for Massachusetts
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
