Our client, an established credit union in the Springfield, MA area, is seeking a motivated Universal Banker who is passionate about delivering outstanding member service while helping grow member relationships and the branch's success. What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional service to members through accurate and professional transaction processing.

• Open new accounts and assist members with account maintenance requests.

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, and other teller transactions.

• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through credit union products and services.

• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for consumer and business relationships.

• Participate in branch calling efforts and regularly contact prospects.

• Build community and professional relationships that support the credit union.

• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations.

• Process incoming and outgoing cash shipments accurately.

• Complete assigned reports and operational duties accurately and on time.

• Track and maintain accurate sales activity records.

• Handle member account maintenance requests and statement reconciliation concerns.

• Escalate member issues to management when appropriate.

• Recommend process improvements that enhance the member experience.


What You'll Bring

• High school diploma.

• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional member service.

• Knowledge of teller and member service operations and procedures.

• Understanding of account opening and account servicing processes.

• Basic knowledge of banking/credit union operations.

• Understanding of loans, IRA procedures, and certificate products.

• Strong communication and relationship building skills.

• Sound decision making and problem solving abilities.

• Business acumen and member focused mindset.


This is an on-site role in either Ludlow, MA or Wilbraham, MA. The salary range is $23-25/ hr depending on experience.
