Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a medical manufacturing team on first shift. In this role, you receive incoming materials, prepare and ship outgoing orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure all products are handled in accordance with strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. You play a critical part in supporting production operations and ensuring the timely flow of materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

Pay: $20 - $22/hr

Shift: First (1st) shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to confirm accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately process and record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions in the appropriate systems.
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship products in accordance with customer requirements and established company procedures.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when certified, to move and stage materials safely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and participation in inventory audits.
  • Coordinate closely with production, quality, and purchasing departments to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation, including bills of lading and freight paperwork, is completed accurately and on time.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and shipping/receiving areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Follow FDA, ISO, and GMP standards as well as company quality procedures applicable to a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies while performing daily tasks.
  • Assist with other warehouse, logistics, and material handling duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and GMP quality standards in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience coordinating with production, quality, and purchasing teams to support material flow.
  • Comfort working with various types of inventory and materials used in manufacturing settings.
  • Strong communication skills to relay information clearly to colleagues and other departments.

Work Environment

The work environment is a medical manufacturing setting focused on creating innovative fluidic solutions that maximize performance and optimize the fluidic pathway. Product lines include components such as column hardware, degassers, fluidic connections, manifolds, pumps, pump components, sensors, and valves. You work in a production and warehouse area where precision, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards are essential. The role is performed on first shift, in a setting that combines hands-on material handling with computer-based inventory activities, using standard warehouse equipment and systems to support efficient and accurate operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleborough, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
